Hillside Karpaz Hotel

Hillside Karpaz project is located at the northern end of Karpaz Island in Cyprus, facing Mediterranean coasts of Turkey. There are three different coves within an extensive area of shore line. Main approach was to design a resort village that not just attracts families with children but also diverse groups of people, while aims to be functionally and spiritually a “Mediterranean Island”.

Since project covers wide area of land, inner transportation is designed according to the barrier-free, simple and rational aspects. Reception, hotel, stores, main restaurant and pool are located at the center. Hillside Karpaz’s symbolic structure of stairs and circulation network that connects different levels, open and closed areas, hotel and resort units begins and ends here.
