Makkah has a great impact on the world both as a Middle Eastern city under developments of the global economy and as a city representing a deep culture of Islam. It is a meritorious task to develop a new city of 87 sq km in the western development corridor of Makkah in the Haram region in which different disciplines like urban planners, landscape designers, architects and infrastructural engineers are involved.
